Highlights of MN Christian Convention

April 8-9 Rochester, MN

We had a blast hanging out with family. We got lots of swimming in. Enjoyed some classes, worship time, Ben Cacharias lectures, snacks, and fellowship with many people.

Hayven wasn't too thrilled about the water!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TO JAYDA!!

We did Alvin and the Chipmunks theme! We played stick the "A" on Alvin's shirt, sang and had cookes with the letter "A" on them!! Kids played and had a great time! We had lots of chipmunk pics hanging up and balloons to match the colors of the chipmunks sweaters. She got lots of presents!

She also got a bouquet of cookies from Grandpa and Grandma Wood. Needless to say, they were gone pretty quick! YUM!

Jump Hayven Jump

Jayda was teaching Hayven how to jump from one book to the next. It was quite cute! She's a great teacher and Hayven was quite proud to try jumping.

Hayven loves to roll the ball back and forth with Jayda. She does so good.

Tis the Season

...for scraped up knees. Well Jayda has managed to fall twice in the past few days. First day she scraped up both knees on the tar. Then last night she fell and bruised her knees, scraped her arm, and hands! Poor thing just kept saying, "It hurts." Those scrapes sure do sting. She recovered after taking a bath both times and snuggling with either mom or dad and of course a few band-aids. Think I just may have to get her knee pads. Last year she had quite the scraped knees too. She's so full of energy that she doesn't ever just walk...she's always skipping or running. Such is the life of a 4 year old!

Dad and Me

Jayda went to an ECFE class recently. It was called "Dad and Me." All they had to do was take a hammer and pay $2.00 and they got to make a bird feeder together!

They had a blast! She can't wait to hang it up outside soon and watch the birds eat the bird feed. Her cousin Natalie also was in the class. They got to play toys when they were done making the bird feeder!
