Highlights of our trip

Well we made it to Indiana and back safely. Definitely worn out along the way, but fun too! The girls had a blast playing with cousins. Jayda loved riding in grandpa Mowery's golf cart and playing with everybody's animals. She drug grandpa Wood's cat around. We got to see lots of Zach's family. We ate lots of yummy food. We had grilled hamburgers 4 times and strawberry shortcake 3 or 4 times. Needless to say we did not starve! I managed to learn how to play Texas Hold Em. We also played Farkle (I won...just in case you were wondering). = ) We stayed at a motel 6 on the way there and on the way back. The girls loved being out of their carseats. Hayven learned a lot of new tricks while we were gone. She learned how to sit up, sit down from being on her hands and feet, and just being more mobile! Off and running...

Well we are taking a road trip to Indiana. The girls and I are picking up Zach from work at 3:00 this afternoon. We will then continue a few hours to Spring Grove to visit a great friend! Then will continue on another few hours to Rockford, IL where we will spend the night at a hotel. Once we get up and going tomorrow morning we will continue our trek to Worthington, IN to spend the long weekend with Zach's family. Should be fun. Hopefully the girls will do well. Pray for our safe travels!! Hope you have a blessed Memorial Day weekend. Thanks to all those that have served in our country!!!

I love you mommy...

Jayda's Wee Worship class sang a song this morning at church. It's called, "I Love You Mommy." It is to the tune of "You are my sunshine." Jayda did such a good job! She's in the front row on the right side.

Is there such a thing as brownie points?

A funny conversation Zach and I had at the table during lunch. Just had to share it of course!

(Jayda was on her way upstairs to go potty and take a nap).

Jill: (Looked at Zach) and asked, "Do you want to go with her or should I?"

Zach: You can

Jill: HA! I knew you would say that.

Zach: I can.

Jill: laughs

Zach: You say that to trick me. It's like if I don't do it I'll lose brownie points or something.

Jill: How can you lose brownie points if you don't have any? (Smile)

Zach: Point taken! (He leaves the table and walks upstairs).

Jill: (Still laughing)

Oh life is a joy!! Savor every moment!
